Jerry was the beloved husband of the late Diane H. Lopes Zucker. The couple shared 42 and one half years of love, friendship, laughter and good times before Diane’s passing October 13, 2013. They met at a freshman mixer in 1967 and were together ever since.

Born April 14, 1949, Jerry was the only child of the late Jerry and Ethel Lillian Deitrick Zucker.

He spent his entire life involved in the Jazz and Big Band Scene in the Philadelphia area.  He was a member of the Pennsbury Alumni Concert Jazz Band and played the baritone saxophone. Music was his passion, he was very active prior to Covid 19 with his band Monday Blues Jazz Orchestra and loved to perform.

Morrissey, Inc. for 36 years, Jerry retired in 2006. In his retirement he enjoyed traveling the world with his loving wife, Diane, also spending time with family and friends. One of his many passions, outside of music, was cooking. He loved to experiment with new recipes and enjoyed cooking for his family and friends.
Jerry will forever be remembered as a Man with a heart of gold who believed in personal sacrifice and unconditional love. He put his heart and soul into making sure his boys felt loved and supported in every way possible. His absence will be felt by all whose lives he touched.
