Geraldine M. Blickley (Creedon)

Geraldine M. Blickley of Churchville, PA, passed away Monday, June 6, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She had recently celebrated her 85th birthday.

Gerry was the beloved wife of the late Paul W. Blickley Sr. Gerry and Paul were childhood sweethearts.  They shared many years of happiness, friendship, love and good memories as together they raised their five children in Bucks County. 

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Helen Bert Creedon. She is the sister of the late Vincent Creedon Jr. and Doris Carney.

Gerry was vivacious, loved to dance and enjoyed many pool parties.  She also enjoyed her summer vacations in Avalon with her beloved husband Paul.  Gerry was a member of Northampton Senior Center.  Previous employment included:  William Tennent High School Cafeteria and a school bus driver for Turner, Van Trans and Laidlaw.  Her primary career, in which Gerry took great pride, was creating a home for her husband and children.

Gerry will be greatly missed by her children, Gerry Downer (Ed), Paul (Joyce), Jackie Rossetti (Mike), Gary (Sheila) and Bob (Paige); her grandchildren, Keith Miller (Roi-Maw), David Miller, Janine Sobotka (Michael), Nicole Rossetti (Tim Garrett), Christie (Eddie Ochoa), Adam, Dallas and Madison; her great grandchildren, Nathan Miller, Seth Miller, Justin Miller, Michael Miller (Autumn), Mikey Sobotka, Emily Sobotka and Vance Garrett; and her great-great grandson, Maverick Miller and a second great-great grandchild on the way.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet Gerry’s family on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, from 10:15am until the start of her Words of Remembrance at 11:15am. Funeral Mass will begin at 11:30am at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 654 Hatboro Road in Richboro, PA 18954. Her interment will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, PA.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Gerry’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
