Obituaries Alan "Mac" C. McLain
Alan C. “Mac” McLain of Yardley passed away on Monday, June 6, 2022 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He had just celebrated his 81st birthday.
He was the beloved husband of Lucille M. Kennedy McLain.
Born in Endicott, NY he was the son of the late Ivan and Bernice (Chapman) McLain.
Mac was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He was an avid golfer and was also associated with the Holmesburg Gun Club and Five Ponds Golf Course.
In addition to his wife Lucille, Alan is survived by his loving and devoted daughters, Nora McLain-Perry of Philadelphia, Monika McLain-Shanahan and husband Paul of Philadelphia, Lynn Boyle and husband Ted of Haverford, Lisa Dempsey of Seattle, WA; brother, Gerald McLain and his wife Susan of Endwell, NY; 5 Grandchildren, Jennifer & Dwayne Robinson, Caroline Shanahan, and Bridget & Erin Boyle; Cat/Sidekick, Bella. Alan was predeceased by his two brothers, Neale and Roy McLain
Alan’s family will receive friends on Friday, June 10, 2022 from 10:00AM until his Memorial Service at 12 Noon in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954. Interment will be on a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
