Kathleen F. Carter

Kathleen F. Carter, “Kathy” of Cape May NJ, formerly of Richboro and Hatboro died suddenly, on July 5, 2022 at Cape Regional Medical Center, Cape May. She was 76.

Born in Camden, N.J., Kathy was the beloved wife of 30 years to Dennis E. Carter, devoted daughter of the late Joseph and Mildred Giberson Janos, and sister of the late Patricia Simmers.

Kathy was a graduate of McDevitt High School, class of 1964, she received her undergraduate degree from West Chester State College and her master’s degree in education from Bloomsburg University.

Kathy’s professional career spanned 43 years, working as a teacher for 33 years in the Upper Moreland School District teaching mostly 1st grade.  After her retirement from teaching Kathy worked for Doylestown Country Club, Doylestown, PA., as Manager and Hostess for 10 years.

In addition to her beloved husband, she is survived by her 2 daughters: Krista Zoller of Bristol, PA and Alyson Deveney and her husband Scott of Havertown, PA. She is survived by her 5 dear grandchildren, Nicholas Carter, Christian Kegel, Brynn Deveney, Liam Deveney and Reagan Deveney. Kathy is survived by her siblings: Maureen Peruzzi, Joseph Janos and his wife Catherine, Teresa Heston and her husband Gary, and Carol Urbanski and her husband Robert.  She is also survived by her brother-in-law Louis Simmers, husband of deceased Patricia.  Also surviving are her 2 stepsons, Michael Carter and Scott Carter.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Thursday, July 14th from 10:00am until her Funeral Mass at 11:00am in St. John Neumann, 380 Highland Lane, Bryn Mawr, PA.
