Barbara A. Curtin (Ruehling)

Barbara A. Ruehling Curtin, of Warminster, died all too soon, on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at Abington Hospital. She was 61.

She was the beloved wife of 39 years to William M. Curtin.

Barbara was born in Elkins Park, PA, and raised in Feasterville. She is the daughter of Barbara Ann Koppi Ruehling of Newtown and the late Frederick Ruehling Jr. Barbara graduated from Neshaminy Langhorne High School in 1979.

Barbara was a loving, compassionate woman. She loved life to the fullest. When Barbara wasn’t working at her job of 17 1/2 years at Icon Medical Imaging in Blue Bell PA, she enjoyed her down time being around family, friends and her 3 Golden Retrievers. She always welcomed anyone and everyone into her home with open arms, she would often go by as “Momma Curtin”. She enjoyed baking with her granddaughter and she was very well known for her homemade brownies and chocolate chip cookies. She enjoyed gardening and always had flowers around especially her favorite flower tulips. She enjoyed weekend trips out to Lancaster, PA with her husband and shopping at all the Amish stores. She loved spending time down the shore in the summer with her parents and her kids and husband. She loved sitting outside on the porch in her rocking chairs. She loved holiday time and cooking for everyone, especially Christmas. She was very well known for holiday decorations and was always complemented on her Christmas tree. Even after all she endured medically, she always kept a smile on her face and a positive attitude and was ready to face whatever life threw at her. She will forever be missed but never forgotten.

In addition to her loving husband, Bill, Barbara is survived by her children; William M. Curtin Jr., Chelsea Curtin, and Christopher Curtin and her granddaughter Arabella all of Warminster PA. and her two sisters; Stacie Ruehling of Philadelphia and Marie Kovach and her husband Mark and her nephew Matthew of Doylestown PA.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 from 9:00am until her Memorial Service, at 11:00am at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954. Her interment will follow at Union Cemetery, Richboro.
