Rosemary A. Gurysh (Uhar)
Rosemary Ann Gurysh (nee Uhar) of Lower Gwynedd and formerly a longtime resident of Warminster passed away on Friday, July 29, 2022 at Springhouse Estates. She was 80.
Rosemary was the beloved wife of 51 years to Michael Hopewell Gurysh who passed away in December 2015.
Born in New Kensington, PA she was the daughter of the late Anthony J. and Helen (Sekscienski) Uhar. She grew up in Milton, PA.
Rosemary attended Penn State University where she was awarded a bachelor’s degree in biology in 1964. She enjoyed working in the laboratory. She worked many years in the seed laboratory at Burpee Seed Company.
Rosemary was an excellent seamstress and crafter. She enjoyed quilting and decorative painting and her family will remember her by the beautiful pieces she created that remain in their homes. She also loved the outdoors and was a wonderful gardener and birdwatcher. Her happy place was in her kayak on Flanders Pond in Maine.
Above all else, Rosemary’s family was the most important thing to her, whether it was baking or doing crafts with her granddaughters or hiking with her grandsons, she will be dearly missed.
Rosemary is survived by her two children. Stephanie Krohto and her husband Kurt, of Lincoln, RI and Michael A. Gurysh and his wife, Cara, of Perkasie, PA. She also leaves behind her adoring grandchildren, Ryan and Colin Krohto and Adam, Becca, and Hayley Gurysh.
Her services and interment were held privately by the family in Beulah Cemetery.
