George W. Griess

George W Griess Jr., of Langhorne, PA, died peacefully on Tuesday, August 2, 2022. He was 86 years old.

The beloved husband of the late Joeann Mahoney Griess, George is the father of the late Susan Griess and Dana Griess.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the only child of the late George W Sr. and Dorothy Griess.

George worked for Provident National Bank for 42 years as a stock and securities supervisor.

What George loved the most was vacationing with his family in Florida, Hilton Head and the Jersey shore. He would always say his second career would have been a beach bum, he loved the beach.

He was a great life-long friend to many and was always willing to help someone in need.

George was a devoted husband and father, his wife and girls were always his top priority. He was the best girl dad ever. He was a loving grandfather and great grandfather to his 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, he loved being called Pop.

George will be missed by his daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Ken Koretsky and Danielle and Kerry Keeney; his grandchildren, Kenny Koretsky Jr. and his wife Rachel, Kyle Koretsky, Taylor Koretsky, Brendan Keeney and Dylan Keeney; and his great grandchildren, Kenny III and Camryn.

Relatives and friends may greet George’s family on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 from 10:00am, until the start of his Funeral Mass at 11:30am at St. Vincent de Paul Church at 654 Hatboro Road in Richboro, PA 18954. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Susan G Komen for the Cure at 13770 Noel Road; Suite 801889 in Dallas, TX 75380.
