Margaret June Maksimuk (Brown)

It is with profound sadness that we mourn the passing of Margaret J. Maksimuk, of Doylestown, on August 19, 2022, at the age of 89. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph S. Maksimuk, who passed away in 2004.

Margaret was a dedicated mother and a devout lifelong Catholic. She enjoyed reading books, gardening, solving puzzles, watching classic movies and game shows, and following sports. She was kind, generous, and routinely donated to charities that were dear to her.

She will be lovingly remembered by her two sons, Stephen J. Maksimuk of Erie and Robert W. Maksimuk if Doylestown; and her two grandchildren, Adam (Yasmin) and Michael.

Originally from Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Lena (Fairhurst) Brown. She is also preceded in death by her dear sister Edna Rossiter.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family Saturday, August 27, 2022 from 10:00 am until the prayer service at 11:00 am at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 E. Butler Ave. (at Sandy Ridge Rd.), New Britain. Interment will follow at St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.

Memorial Donations may be made in Margaret’s name to Purple Heart, 3070 Bristol Pike #1-216 Bensalem, PA 19020, and the Bucks County SPCA, 1665 Street Rd. New Hope, PA 18938.
