Stephen Philip von Hohen

Stephen Philip von Hohen went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, September 16, 2022.  He was 77.

Stephen was the beloved husband of 53 years to Lorraine J. Andrews von Hohen.

Born in Abington, PA he was the son of the late Erwin Philip and Elizabeth Griffaton von Hohen.

Stephen was a proud Vietnam Veteran who served in the United States Air Force.  He enjoyed handcrafting furniture so much that he turned his passion into a well-respected company selling furniture nationwide.  It was known as Bucks County Furniture by Stephen von Hohen.  After decades since the company’s founding, Stephen decided to retire in 1989.  In addition to his passion for furniture, Stephen was an automobile and motorcycle enthusiast, a scholar of Military History, an avid marksman, and a devoted and active member of his Church, but above all, Stephen cherished the time he spent with his beloved family and dear friends.  Stephen will be greatly missed, but eternally loved and remembered by everyone who had the privilege to have been in his life and loved by him.

In addition to his beloved wife Lorraine, Stephen is survived by his children: Adam E. of Jamison, PA,  A. Stephen and Jaclyn of Newtown, PA, and Elizabeth Brosha and her husband Eric of Los Alamos, NM,  He is also survived by his sister Carol Gamble and his two grandchildren Anna and Matthew.

Stephen’s family will receive friends on Thursday, September 22, 2022 from 10:00am until his Funeral Service 11:00 am in Lighthouse Baptist Church, 2622 Durham Road Buckingham, PA 18912.  His interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Roslyn, PA.
