Dominick M. Rocco

Dominick "Donny" M. Rocco of Newtown, passed away Friday, November 18, 2022 at Capital Health Regional Medical Center in New Jersey, surrounded by family.  He was 72 years old.

Born April 16, 1950 in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late John Rocco Sr. and mother Helen.  He attended Lincoln High School (class of 1967) and later earned an Associate Degree from Pierce College, with additional education at Saint Joseph’s University.  His passion was for the automotive industry.  In his early 20’s he opened Trevose Motors and sold Used Cars both retail and wholesale.  Through dedication, late nights and sacrifice, he became President of two New Car Dealer Franchises, named Don Chevrolet in New Jersey and Metro Honda in Bloomsburg, PA.

Dominick exemplified family, friendship, and faith.  A devoted husband to his wife of 46 years, Shirley.  The BEST father a son could have to Edward. A devoted Pop-Pop to the “little guy”.  A loving Brother and caring Uncle.  ---  He put his faith in action by being a Deputy Grand Knight, Council 7103, Knights of Columbus, devoting time and energy to catholic charitable and community causes.

Along with his wife, Shirley, Dominick is survived by a son, Edward Rocco and his wife, Rachel, of Feasterville; a grandson, Edward; three siblings, John Rocco, Jr., Darlene Rocco, and Sheron James (Brian Fennimore); and three nephews, Christopher, Erik, and Kenneth.
