Monika Daley

Monika E. Daley, 72, of Lansdale, passed away November 25, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late James M. Daley, Jr. who passed away in 2008.

Monika was born in Wilhelmshaven, Germany. She immigrated to the United States as a child.

Monika was a dedicated nurse. She was formerly employed by Abington Memorial Hospital. Monika was generous and always willing to give to those in need. She was selfless and made sure others were happy before herself. Before she became ill, Monika was an active member of a Widow and Widowers group where she met wonderful people, enjoyed many trips abroad to Ireland and Costa Rica, and attended local events like Phillies games. She volunteered at Manna on Main Street. Toward the end of her life, Monika valued the community and connections she made at Resurrection Lutheran Church in Horsham.

Monika was the loving mother of two daughters, Jennifer Daley (Brian Wenders) of Colmar and Kelly-Ann O’Driscoll (Matthew) of Lansdale; a granddaughter, Riley; and two sisters, Sigrid Hutton (Walt) of Georgia and Melanie Torrey (Kevin) of Pennsylvania.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 10:00 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 E. Butler Ave. (at Sandy Ridge Rd.), New Britain. Interment will follow at St. John Neumann Cemetery.
