Charles F. Maeyer III

Charles F. Maeyer, III, 71 of Chalfont, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Monica (Martino) Maeyer and beloved father of Lisa Maeyer.

Born January 21, 1951 in Horsham, he was the son of the late Charles F. and Lillian L. (Grau) Maeyer, Jr.

A graduate of Hatboro-Horsham High School and Delaware Valley University, he spent six years in the Naval Reserves from which he was honorably discharged.

His career in computer technology spanned five decades and ranged from computer building and repair to systems support to managing computer centers. He lovingly helped coach his daughter’s soccer and softball teams and was also actively involved and passionately encouraging of Lisa’s middle school and high school tennis career. He served on the New Britain Township Park and Recreation Board for 30 years, leading activities such as the Easter Egg Hunt, Fourth of July Parade, and Santa House.

Along with his wife, Monica, and daughter, Lisa, Charles is survived by two sisters, Virginia Tan (Tai-Ho) of Los Alamos, NM, and Marty Levine (Eli) of Furlong; and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family Tuesday, January 3, 2023 from 12:00 pm until his funeral service at 1:00 pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 E. Butler Ave (at Sandy Ridge Rd.), New Britain. Interment will follow at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler.
