Christine "Chris" Mokrynchuk (Heidorn)

Christine “Chris” Heidorn Mokrynchuk, of Doylestown, PA passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Doylestown Hospital, surrounded in love by her family. She was 53.

Born in Abington, PA, she was the daughter of Pamela Thirsk Teichgraber of Chalfont and the late Ernest A. Heidorn.

In addition to her fiancé, Drew, and mother, Pam, Christine is survived by her three sons, Ryan Mokrynchuk (fiancé Lee), Evan Mokrynchuk and Jason Mokrynchuk (fiancé Jeannine) all of Quakertown. She is also survived by her two grandchildren Ava and William.

Chris was a warm and loving woman with a radiant smile.  She spent 9 years working at CHOP in Philadelphia in the Craniofacial and Special Needs Orthodontics Clinic helping treat young patients with craniofacial needs.  She loved animals and had a deep affection for sea turtles and miniature pigs.  Chris’s personality would light up the room with her infectious smile, warm personality and sincerity.  She was the anointed baker of the family, making her most requested Brown Sugar Granny Cake at almost every occasion.  She and her mom enjoyed their annual trips to the beach in Avalon and attending car shows throughout the Delaware Valley.  She got the greatest joy spending time with her 3 sons and her grandchildren were the light of her life.

Her family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, January 5, 2023 starting at 2:00 pm until a Celebration of her life at 4:00 pm in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Ave. (at Sandy Ridge Rd.) New Britain, PA 18901.  Her interment will be held privately at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to www.welcometokin.org; a local organization dedicated to helping patients and their caregivers.
