Elizabeth "Betty" Duddleston (Boulogne)

Mrs. Elizabeth “Betty” T. (Boulogne) Duddleston of Richboro, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at age 95.

Betty was born in Montclair, New Jersey on November 5, 1927, one of four children of the late Roger and Yvonne Boulogne of North Caldwell, NJ. Raised in Paris, France and while she was being educated at the Dupanloup School in Paris, the family returned to the United States during World War II and settled in North Caldwell, NJ.  Betty enjoyed her years in North Caldwell and later on Greenwood Lake, Warwick, NY.

After graduating from James Caldwell High School, she married Anton D. Zirk, Fairfield, NJ and together they had five children.

Betty was predeceased by her parents, sisters (Susanne and Yvette) and brother (Robert) and her two husbands, Anton (1996), Robert (2015) and her beloved son David.  She is survived by her devoted children: Jackie (Michael) Angelotto, Roger Zirk, Ken (Judi) Zirk, Yvette (Buddy) Mickolajczyk and daughter-in-law Anna Marie Zirk, along with 8 wonderful grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Betty always had a passion for fashion, art and design and after marrying Robert Duddleston, they teamed up at Weichert Realtors in Monroe, NY and enjoyed a successful career in real estate. They could always be found on the dance floor at social events and especially enjoyed their time traveling.  Their home on Greenwood Lake, NY was a great place to spend time on the beach or their boat with family and friends.

One of her fondest memories was traveling back to Paris with her son (Ken) and daughter-in-law (Judi) re-visiting many childhood sights; bringing back many wonderful memories of her parents and siblings.

Services are private. In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Betty may be made to Vitality Hospice & Palliative Care, 3000 Cabot Blvd. W. Suite 200A, Langhorne, PA.
