Ethel Katits (Eberly)

Ethel Katits of Hatboro, PA died peacefully on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at Luther Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  She was 98.

Ethel was the beloved wife of the late Carl Katits and the loving mother of the late William and Ronald Katits.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Ethel Rose Toth Eberly.

Ethel was always happy even while raising 4 boys, which at times was a challenge. Ethel and Carl enjoyed going on cruises and spending time with family and friends. In retirement ceramics was her hobby. Ethel cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren, taking them to the Maryland where they spent weekends. She will be truly missed. Her cheerful smile will be in our memories

Ethel is survived by her sons: Carl Katits of Holland and Michael Katits and his wife Kathy of Doylestown.  She is also survived by her daughter-in-law Judy Katits of Southampton, her 9 loving grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.

Ethel’s family will receive friends on Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 10:00am until her Funeral Service 11:00am in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954.  Her interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Cheltenham.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the American Red Cross, 2221 Chestnut Street Philadelphia, PA 19103
