Ilene "Cookie" Aronovitz (Goldstein)

Ilene "Cookie" Aronovitz, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at her home in Warrington, PA, with her husband by her side. She was 73. She was the beloved wife of 54 years to Gerald Aronovitz.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Lilian Barsky Goldstein and sister of the late Arnold Goldstein.

Cookie was an amazing wife, mother, and Bubby.  She loved music, books, cooking, the beach and gardening, almost as much as she loved her family.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by her two children, Ross Aronovitz and his wife Janice of Jupiter, FL,  Jaymie Leopold and her husband Kenneth of Chalfont, PA and her sister, Susan Cohen and her husband Stuart of Cherry Hill, NJ. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Jacob Aronovitz, Rachel Leopold, Madeline Leopold and Lola Aronovitz.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 9:45am at the administrative building in the Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA 18940 with her service, promptly at 10:00am at the cemetery committal pavilion. Shiva will be observed on Tuesday and Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Jaymie Leopold and her husband Kenneth (122 Blue Jay Road, Chalfont, PA 18914).
