Ronald M Tilsner

Ronald M. Tilsner, died peacefully at Holy Redeemer Hospital on Saturday, January 21, 2023. He was 79 years old.

Ronald was the beloved husband of Patricia A Tretola Tilsner. The couple had been married for 58 years. They were residents of Churchville and parishioners of St. Vincent de Paul Church for 50 years.

Born in Philadelphia, Ronald is the only son of the late Ferdinand C. and Eleanor Tilsner (Lutz). He is predeceased by his sister Frances Cavacini and her husband John, and his brother-in-law Vincent Turco. He was raised in Northeast Philadelphia and attended Father Judge High School.

Ronald was very proud of his service to his country where he spent over four years in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He then worked as a structural ironworker for 38 years and was a member of Union Local 401. While his family was his priority, he did enjoy fishing, boating, golfing and time spent with loved ones at the family home in Brigantine. He was a lifelong passionate fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and never missed a game.

In addition to his wife Patricia, Ronald will be missed by his children, Steve Tilsner and his wife, Maria, and Michelle Tilsner; his grandchildren, Jessica Brouse and her husband Stephen, Steven Tilsner Jr. and his wife Sarah, and Owen Tilsner. He was a very proud great-grandfather to Theo Brouse. He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Eleanor and William Dalton; and his sister Doris Turco; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet Ronald’s family on February 7, 2023, from 9:30 am, until the start of his Funeral Mass, 11:00, at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 654 Hatboro Rd., in Richboro, PA 18954.
