Paul W. Franklin III

Paul W. Franklin, III, 66, of Jamison, passed away February 24, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Robin L. (Smith) Franklin.

Born February 27, 1956 in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Paul W. and Pauline (Iobbi) Franklin, Jr.

Paul completed his degree at the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) in Hyde Park, New York.  After 40 years in the food service industry, he ended his career where his passion lied – on the golf course at Lookaway Country Club. In his free time, some of his favorite things to do were spend time with family, golf, fish, take trips to the zoo and vacation on Long Beach Island.

Along with his wife, Robin, Paul is survived by three daughters, Kate Melnick (Scott) of Langhorne, Ali Franklin of Willow Grove, and Faith Matakonis (Stephen) of North Wales; two grandchildren, Jacob and Taylor; three brothers, Jeffrey Franklin, Michael Franklin (Xiuli Gao), and John Franklin; and many nieces and a nephew.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 10:00 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.), Richboro. Interment will be held privately.

Contributions in Paul’s name can be made to the Philadelphia Zoo or the National Brain Tumor Society.
