

Thomas C Feeney Jr.
Thomas C. Feeney Jr. died peacefully on February 19, 2023. Tom was born in Philadelphia on January 11, 1931, to the late Thomas C. Sr. and Florence E. Feeney. Tom attended the Olney High School and graduated in 1948. During his teenage years, he enjoyed scouting and became lifelong friends with his fellow Olney boy scouts. The Boy Scout pack and their families were the best of friends up and through retirement years. In 1952, Tom was drafted into the United States Army and worked as a supply clerk at the Killeen Air Force Base in Texas until his honorable discharge in 1954. In September 1954, Tom entered West Chester State Teachers College where he met the love of his life, Elizabeth Kroeger (Betty). They became well-loved teachers, Betty of elementary students and Tom as a high school Math teacher. Tom taught at Cheltenham High School for many years. During this time, Tom earned a Masters Degree in Education from the University of Pennsylvania. Tom became the Dean of Mathematics at Montgomery County Community College and worked there until his retirement in 1993. His retirement was filled with travel, golf, card games, volunteering and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Tom was an incredible man. He was a friend to all those he knew and to all those he didn’t know. His life was a true testament to hard work, integrity. charity and trustworthiness.
Tom is survived by his children Thomas C. III (Ellen), Carole Mason, Ellen Moore (William) and Joanne Laman (Douglas). He is also survived by his brother-in-law Dr. Donald Wright, sister-in-law Darlene Feeney, nieces Virginia Brotman, Peggy Koenitzer, Elisyabeth Williamson, Pat Stecklein, Janet Houck, Sue Wright, eight grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Tom's family will greet relatives and friends on March 16, 2023, at the Chapel of Ann's Choice, 30000 Ann's Choice Way, Warminster, PA 18974 from 10-12. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Benevolent Care Fund of Ann's Choice, 20000 Ann's Choice Way, Warminster, PA 18974.
