Mary C. Kepler (Hack)

Mary C. Kepler of Essington, PA died peacefully Thursday, March 2, 2023 at home with her niece in Feasterville, PA where she had been residing for the past three years. Mary was 95.

Born in Philadelphia, Mary was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Kepler and the daughter of the late Paul A. and Mary C. Dougherty Hack. She was predeceased by her baby brother, Paul, and her loving sister, Margaret. She is survived by her sister, Julia, seventeen nieces and nephews plus their spouses and children.

Mary had been a resident of Essington for many years and was an active member of St. Margaret Mary R.C. Church and later St. Gabriel's Parish. She was an active member of the Legion of Mary.

She was also a crossing guard for many years in the Essington area until she retired at 90 years of age. She loved various crafts and bowling. The windows of her home displayed her talent of growing orchids. She was also known for being a staunch Philly's fan.

Visitation will be at St. Gabriel's R.C. Church in Norwood Pa, on Tuesday March 7th at 10 am with Catholic Mass to follow at 11:00 am. She will be interred at Fernwood Cemetery.
