John R. Browne

John R. Browne, 78, of Holland, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 8, 2023. He was the beloved husband of the late Carole A. (Johnson) Browne.

John was a resident of Holland for 55 years. Prior to that he was in Boston, Baltimore, Cape May, and many many stories of Mt. Pocono as a teen. He enlisted in the Army and served as an MP in Vietnam.

He raced a dirt stock car in Flemington, NJ when he was younger. He and his wife Carole also enjoyed off-road racing Jeeps for 20 years of their life together. He passed down the love of cars and racing to his daughter Jennifer and two grandsons who have continued his racing legacy.

Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer Venezia (Jaime) of Milford, MI and two grandsons J.J. and Johnny Venezia.
