Rose June Rose (Kelly/Colfer)

Rose June Rose, of Southampton, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at Jefferson Abington Hospital. She was 85 years old. Rose was predeceased by her husbands Donald Colfer and Hugh “Bud” Rose.

Rose was born on January 15, 1938 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Cornelius and Rose Murphy Kelly.

Rose is survived by her pride and joy, her three daughters; Susan Custer and her husband John of Westampton, NJ, Donna Branigan and her husband Larry of Hatboro, Colleen Dixon and her husband Chalie of Hatboro and step-son, Michael Rose and his wife Donna.

She was a loving Mom Mom to her 5 grandchildren; Colin McShane (Christine), Chuck Dixon (Nicole), Erin Nichols (Jacob), Molly Branigan and Breann Dixon; and GiGi to her precious 8 great-grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her brother Neil Kelly.

Known and loved as Rose or June or Aunt June to many adoring cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, sorority sisters from St Mary's Academy, co-workers, neighbors and an endless number of friends from the many circles of her life, including George Ebner and Jim Bash.

Rose's work career included in-home childcare services, years of dedicated service at Richard O'Donnell Sr Real Estate, Drs Siliquini and Fisher Ophthalmology offices and most recently at Valley Eye Professionals in Huntingdon Valley, Pa.

She was actively involved in the Women's Club of Lawncrest earlier in life and more recently participated in the TLA Warminster group and Upper Morelands' Golden Age Club.

Rose was lucky to have traveled extensively both nationally and internationally.

Most of all, she loved to spend endless hours at the beach with her family, play cards and to DANCE (especially recent years at the VFW Louis Drive in Warminster).

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Thursday, March 30th for a viewing from 4:30pm to 8:30pm at the Joseph A.
