John "Jack" Frederick Crisp

John (Jack) Frederick Crisp of Newtown, PA, a veteran of World War II, died peacefully on March 21, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.

Jack, as known to his family and friends, was born in Philadelphia on June12, 1926 to the late Walter Crisp and Caroline (nee Fischer). He attended Northeast High School before enlisting in the United States Navy on. September 19, 1944 and was honorably discharged on April 18, 1946.

Jack was married to the love of his life, the late Mabel Crisp (nee Gaffney) for 72 years. He was the devoted father of Bradley Crisp, Cynthia Mayne (John Thompson), and the late Gary Crisp. Dear brother of the late Walter Crisp (Kathy). Beloved father-in-law of Mona Crisp Gallo (Vic). He is remembered with love by his treasured grandchildren Nicole Crisp, Justin (Lauren) Crisp, Kristopher Mayne (Sam Moscherosch), and his dear great grandchildren, Makayla Crisp and Jackson Mayne. Jack was also the loving Uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Jack worked at Philips Electronics for over 35 years as a regional branch manager for the eastern division. He loved to travel with his wife both nationally and internationally. His favorite vacations were spent by the ocean. He spent most of his life caring for those he loved. Jack was kind, funny, hard-working, loving, thoughtful, intelligent and a devoted family man. He was an amazing dancer (especially the jitterbug), had a passion for reading, enjoyed listening to music and books on tape, taking day trips to the movies, dining out at his favorite restaurants, attending Broadway shows and most importantly spending time with his family.

Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 beginning a 10:00 am, followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 am at the Joseph A.Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954. Interment will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jack’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 625 West Ridge Pike, Building A, Suite 100 Conshohocken, PA 19428.
