Joseph C. Bubeck

Joseph Carl Bubeck of New Hope and formerly of Pipersville died peacefully surrounded by his loving and devoted family at Christ's Home in Warminster on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at the age of 87.
Born in Philadelphia, PA he was the son of the late Carl Joseph and Winifred Marie (Newcomb) Bubeck and dear brother of Carole (Bubeck) Boyle and Winifred (Bubeck) Quinn.

Joseph is survived by his loving children: Christina Kubit of Doylestown, Joanne Chase of New Hope, Anne Marie Marasco and her husband Dominic of Santa Rosa Valley, CA, Carl Bubeck and his wife Olga of Easton, and Janice Steckel and her husband Bob of Orefield, PA, and his ex-wife of 24 years, Patricia (King) Bubeck. He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren: Andrew Chase, Samantha (Chase) Burns and her husband Kurt, David Chase, Matthew Kubit, Laura Kubit, Kyle Kubit, Isabella Marasco, Sofia Marasco, Joseph Bubeck, Lily Bubeck, Ryleigh Bubeck, June Steckel, Mackenzie Steckel and Megan Steckel and two great grandchildren, Olivia Burns and Ava Burns.

Joseph served honorably in the United States Army.  He spent two years overseas in Germany from 1957 – 1959 on active duty.  His proudest accomplishment during his time in the Army was boxing for the KItzingen Infantry Division, where he became a Championship boxer.  He continued to serve an additional 4 years service in the Army Reserve until 1963.

Joseph was a graduate of La Salle College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial management.  Joseph C. Bubeck spent his career working as a Manufacturing Engineer at Eaton Corporation in Philadelphia, PA and Philadelphia Gear Corporation in King of Prussia, PA.
Joseph’s greatest role was that of a loving and devoted father, uncle, grandfather, and great grandfather.  Family was always first for him.  Joseph will always be known for being the life of the party.  He always had a story or a joke, occasionally playing the roll of an amateur palm reader, never shy to offer his opinions on any topic, and simply celebrating life with friends and family and lending a hand to whomever needed a little help or supervision were his favorite past times.  His adventures are part of the family lore. An avid sports fan and unofficial Eagles and Phillies historian. He was always prompt and present at every event or milestone; he deeply treasured those family moments.
He was an active member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church and greatly enjoyed participating in their Rosary Group.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Friday, May 12, 2023 from 9:00 AM until his Funeral Mass 10:30 AM in Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 5194 Cold Spring Creamery Road Doylestown, PA 18902.  His interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery in Newtown.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Travis Manion Foundation, PO Box 1485 Doylestown, PA 18901.
