Shirlee M. Longmore

Shirlee M. Longmore died peacefully on Sunday April 23, 2023 at Crestview North in Langhorne. She was 90 years old.

Born in Philadelphia, Shirlee was the beloved wife of 63 years to Joseph F. Longmore, Sr. who died in May of 2021.

Shirlee was a graduate of Frankford High School. During her professional career, Shirlee worked as a secretary for an employment agency for several years raising her children. Shirlee was a communicant of St. Bede the Venerable in Holland, and was a supporter of church actives. She was an avid reader, loved to cook, and looked forward to getting together with the women in the neighborhood, and being with family and friends.

Shirlee is survived by her 5 sons and their wives, her wonderful 10 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet Shirlee’s family on Friday, May 19, 2023 from 11:00 am until her Funeral Mass at 12:15 pm at St. Bede the Venerable Church - 1071 Holland Road Holland, PA 18966. Interment will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Guardians of the National Cemetery, P O Box 233 Newtown, PA 18940.
