Denise M. Rouse (Kelly)

Denise M. Rouse of Newtown, PA died peacefully on Friday, May 12, 2023 at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne.  She was78.

Born in Philadelphia, PA she was the beloved wife of the late Paul V. Rouse M.D. and the daughter of the late James and Geraldine Naughton Kelly.

Denise was the Operating Room and Surgical Services Nurse Educator for the past 35 years at St. Mary Medical Center.  She enjoyed quilting and shopping at various quilting establishments locally and also in the Savannah Georgia area when she was visiting with her family but above all, Denise cherished the time she spent among family and close friends.  Denise will be greatly missed, but eternally loved and remembered by everyone who had the pleasure to have been in her life and loved by her.

Denise is survived by her loving and devoted children: Dr. Keith Rouse and his wife Bridgett of Savannah, GA, Patrick Rouse of Newtown and her late husband Paul’s Children: Jack Rouse and his wife Mary Ev of Gaithersburg, MD, Judith Marquet and her husband Thomas of Basking Ridge, NJ, and Mary Kay Rouse of Randolph, NJ.  She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren and her numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Tuesday Evening, May 16, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00PM in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954 and to her Funeral Mass at 10:30am on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 in the Olde Church of St. Andrew, 131 South Sycamore Street Newtown, PA 18940.  Her interment will follow at St Andrew Cemetery.
