Walter G. Kusters Service Information

Walter G. Kusters, of Warminster, PA passed on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at Ann's Choice. He was 88.

He was the beloved husband of 63 years to Theresa A. Boyce Kusters.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Gerhard and Bertha T. Gronke Kusters.

A sports fan all his life, he was always interested in talking baseball or Phillies.  Drafted out of North Catholic High School to play baseball for the New York Giants, he chose instead to get his bachelor’s degree from the University of PA Wharton School of Business.  A founder of Omega Electronics, he was a significant force in the electronics industry in the mid-Atlantic market for 40 years. Mom & Dad always enjoyed spending time at their Avalon shore house with their children & grandkids.  Walt & Terry were frequent travelers with a favorite destination of Phillies Spring Training in Clearwater FL for 17 years.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his eight children. Greg Kusters and his wife Marty of Langhorne, Tim Kusters and Amy Churilla of Yardley, Jim Kusters and his wife Maureen of Quakertown, Mike Kusters and his wife Cheryl of Newtown, Tom Kusters and his wife Cathy of Manasquan, NJ, Margaret Mary Kusters of Doylestown, Dan Kusters and his wife Yvonne of Doylestown and Steve Kusters and Margarita Gill of Timonium, MD. He is also survived by his 15 dear grandchildren Michael, Delaney, Nicholas, Samantha, David, Matthew, Jack, Paige, Jessica, Patrick, Rachel, Melody, Lincoln, Quinn & Avery, a grandson expected, and great granddaughter Rowan.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 from 5:00 – 7:00pm and on Thursday, June 1^, 2023 from 9:00 – 10:45am at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road, Richboro, PA 18954 and to his Funeral Mass 11:30am at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1017 Holland Rd., Holland, PA 18966. His interment will be held privately at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Walt’s memory may be made to Ann’s Choice Benevolent Care Fund in memory of Walter Kusters 3000 Ann’s Choice Way, Warminster, PA 18974.
