Virginia Marie Walker (Rose)

Virginia Marie Walker (Rose), passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, May 25, 2023. She was 81.

Virginia was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Raymond Charles and Eva Virginia Rose (Caffey). She enjoyed selling Real Estate early on in life and then became a Registered Nurse after the age of 50. She mostly enjoyed being in labor and delivery where she described her position as the “Baby Nurse.” She worked at various hospitals to include Lakeland Regional in Florida, to Doylestown and Shore Memorial. Virginia had a passion for animals and fostered dogs for Wags Rescue in Southampton, PA. She also enjoyed the Philadelphia Eagles, crocheting, shopping and the beach.

Virginia is predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Clinton Walker; she is survived by her loving children, Jacqueline Walker, Gwendolyn Starke and husband Max, Raymond Walker and his wife Veronica, Sharon Simons and her husband Tod, Clinton Walker and his wife Tracy and Kristen Ward and her husband Dan; sisters, Mary Junod and husband Francis and the late Theresa Brenner; ten grandchildren, Jesse, Ryan, Joseph, Jason, the late Michael, Taylor, Camryn, Stephanie, Brayden and Caelan; thirteen great-grandchildren, Luke, Kylie, Clinton, Cole, Cassidy, Cameron, Audrey, Harper, Jack, Pheonix, Reid, Levi and Ryker; her loving pups, Zazu, Ruby and Thor.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, June 1st from 1pm-2:30pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home at 800 Newtown-Richboro Road, Richboro, PA. A Memorial Service will follow. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made in Virginia’s name to Wags Rescue at www.wagsrescue.com or by mail at PO Box 1514, Southampton, PA 18966.
