Carl Farkas

Carl Farkas, Jr. of Newtown, died peacefully at his home on May 27, 2023, surrounded by those who he loved. He was 72.

Born in Trenton, New Jersey, he was the beloved husband of 34 years to Angeline R. Carlisi-Farkas. Son of the late Carl Farkas Sr. and Anna Wilno Farkas.

Carl was a graduate of Ewing High School, class of 1969. He was a Master Plumber by profession and served his apprenticeship in Trenton New Jersey and was a member of the PHCC. He worked on many large construction projects throughout New Jersey and Bucks County.

He was the founder and former owner of Royal Plumbing and Heating which was located in Hamilton Township, NJ, for many years. He served proudly in the Army National Guard and was extremely proud of his country. Carl enjoyed learning about world history and reading in his spare time.

Wherever he went, Carl was sure to have his radio – listening to talk radio and keeping up on current events. Carl loved being with his family – whether on trips to the Jersey shore, at a backyard barbeque, enjoying the local parks, or spending time together at home. Carl enjoyed cooking and baking – skills he gleaned from his mother, Anna. In addition to his beloved wife Angie, he is survived by his stepson, Justin T. Carlisi and daughter, Alexis M. Farkas. Carl is the proud grandfather of Michelangelo Carlisi, with whom he shared a special bond, and was known as “Uncle Carl” to many.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Carl’s Celebration and Memorial gathering on Monday June 5, 2023 from 3:00pm until his Prayers Services at 4:45pm followed by Military Honors at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro.
