Jeanne M. Sutton (Sullivan)

Jeanne M. Sutton 59, passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 6, 2023 with her family by her side.

Born April 19, 1964 in Philadelphia to Betty (Rubincam) Sullivan and the late Robert Sullivan. Jeanne was the youngest of five children and attended St. Christopher’s grade school and graduated from George Washington HS in 1982. Jeanne graduated from Roxborough Nursing School in 1996 and earned her bachelor’s degree from Immaculata University in 2014. She spent the majority of her nearly 30 year career as an RN in long term care at the Artman Home in Ambler PA followed by a brief stint at Aetna and finishing her career with Abington/Jefferson Internal Medicine.

Affectionately called “Bean” by her siblings, Jeanne loved life and always put others before herself. Along with being strikingly attractive, she was a kind and loving person who devoted her life to helping others. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt who loved her family unconditionally. She enjoyed taking long walks, watching movies and playing games with family and friends. Jeanne was extremely generous with the people and causes that she cared about and available when others were in need. Her son Billy was her pride and joy, their bond was very special and she devoted her life to helping him become a wonderful young man.

Jeanne is survived by her husband, Tom; son, Billy Murray; step-daughter, Kim Sutton; grandson, Daniel; siblings, Mark Sullivan, Linda Dick (Bill) and Robert Sullivan (Debbie); and five nieces and nephews, Joey, Richie, Brittany, Kerri, and Paula.
