Janet M. Gindhart (Daniels)

Janet M. Gindhart passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at Neshaminy Manor in Warrington, PA. She was 80 years old.

Janet was the beloved wife of the late Francis “Frank” J Gindhart, Jr., who passed away in August of 2011.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, Janet grew up in the Olney section.  She is the daughter of the late William F and Alma Weymiller Daniels.  Janet graduated from Cardinal Dougherty High School and later moved to Northeast Philadelphia where she raised her children.  She enjoyed gardening, shopping and decorating her home.  She worked many years as an office manager until she retired in 2015.

She reunited with her high school sweetheart, Frank after 30 years and they married in October of 1992.  Together, they enjoyed spending time with their children and grandchildren.

Janet will be missed by her children, Joseph DiGiovanni and Linda Neilson and her husband James, along with her step-children, Mark Gindhart, and his wife, Karen, Kimberly Dillon and her husband Mike, Cynthia Gindhart and Glen Gindhart. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet Janet’s family on Saturday, September 23, 2023 from 10:00am, until the start of her Funeral Tribute at 11:00am at the Joseph A Fluehr III Funeral Home at 241 East Butler Avenue (at Sandy Ridge Road) in New Britain, PA 18901. Her interment will be in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Prospectville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Doylestown Hospice at 4259 West Swamp Road; Suite 204 in Doylestown, PA 18902.
