Doris M. Noble (Bender)

Doris M. Noble of Holland and formerly of Oakford, PA died peacefully at Neshaminy Manor on Sunday, February 4, 2024.  She was 99.

Doris was the beloved wife of the late Robert G. Noble.

Born in Philadelphia, PA she was the daughter of the late Albert and Mae Hoffman Bender.

Doris was a woman of great faith who devoted herself to her husband and to the family they began.  She would call each of her children daily to check on them and families.  She enjoyed traveling with family and friends, time spent at the casino playing the one-arm bandits, gathering with her friends, and watching the evening game shows, but above all Doris treasured the time spent with her family.

Doris worked as a waitress for over 30 years, and retired from Erwin's Country Kitchen in Trevose when she was 70 ½.

Doris will be greatly missed, but eternally loved and remembered by everyone who was a part of her life and loved by her.

Doris is survived by her loving and devoted children Cheryl M. Taggart and her husband John of Churchville, Diane O. Tagye and her partner Bob of Philadelphia, Nancy K. Betz and her husband Harry, and Robert G. Noble Jr. and his partner Sharon Sharkey of Yardley.  She is also survived by her 11 dear grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Monday, February 12, 2024 from 10:00 am until her Funeral Service 11:30 am in the Joseph A.
