George H. Reck

George H. Reck, Jr., of Southampton, PA passed away May 24, 2024 at Southampton Estates.  He was the beloved husband of the late Joan E. (Beattie) Reck for 54 years prior to her passing in 2013.

Born in Trenton, NJ, he was the son of the late Margaret Haley Reck. 

George, a 1954 graduate of Temple University, served in the United States Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer, attended the Naval War College, and retired from the Navy Reserve as a Commander after 20 years of service.  George served as a business executive throughout his life having specialized in the medical diagnostic field including being Founder and President of Meditek Corporation.  He will be forever remembered and sorely missed as a loving husband, father, and Pop Pop George.  

George is survived by his loving children; Jim Reck of Phoenix, AZ, Linda Reck and Karen Hill of Chestertown, MD and Tom Reck and his wife Eva of Cape Elizabeth, ME.  He is also survived by his grandchildren Oskar, Simon, Filip and Matilda.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for a graveside service on Monday, June 3, 2024 at 9:00 am at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA.
