Alice "Vicki" Victoria Lignowski (Yorko)

Alice “Vicki” Lignowski (Yorko) of Newtown, PA passed away on Tuesday, May 28th surrounded by her family. She was born in Greensboro, PA in 1946 to the late John Yorko and Christine Holder. Vicki attended Mapletown High School where she graduated in 1964. She then extended her education to West Virginia University in 1968 and LaSalle University in 1997.

Vicki was a teacher at Shafer Middle School where she taught Home Economics. She was a parishioner of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Newtown and she was an extraordinary minister and volunteer caregiver with H.O.P.E. Ministry.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Edward Lignowski; son, Michael Lignowski and his wife Leigh of Wynnewood, PA and daughter, Jill Santos; four grandchildren, Robert, Emmeline, Charlotte and Peter; brother, John Yorko of Gautier, MS.
