Mary Cawley, 81, of Richboro died peacefully at her home on Wednesday, July 24, 2024.
She was the beloved wife of the late Eugene J. “Gene” Cawley.
Born in Philadlephia, PA she was the daughter of the late Guido and Mary DeCaesar Serro.
Mary was raised in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia. The youngest of four children, she enjoyed babysitting her nieces and nephews in her younger years and spending time with her friends in high school and beyond. She had a very close group of friends in a sorority that are still close today. She met the love of her life, Gene, at the neighborhood hangout and spent the rest of her life happily married to him.
Mary is survived by her two loving children, Jennifer Tomasetti and her life partner George Bowers of Jamison, PA and Gene Cawley and his wife Kate of Milwaukee, WI. She is also survived by her two grandchildren Geena and Anthony (wife Mackenzie) and her great granddaughters Francesca and Isabella.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 from 10:00 am until her Funeral Mass at 11:30 am at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 654 Hatboro Road, Richboro, PA 18954. Her interment will take place privately.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
