Rose Schmitz (Trunk)
It is with great sorrow that we announce the loss of our mother Rose Schmitz (nee Trunk) d.o. 12-29-1937 death 9-2-2024. Her father was Leo Trunk, brothers Karl Heinz and Seppel Trunk, sisters Traudel Pacheo and Annemie Parker. She will be forever missed, by her husband Hans D. Schmitz, Sr.
She is the love of his life and his one and only love. She lost her life to dementia. When she was a young woman she left Frankfurt, Germany in 1958 to marry her childhood sweetheart, (whom came to America one year earlier) in 1959. Together they have 2 children Ann (husband Bill Kline) Hans, Jr. (wife Daniela nee Halaway) grandchildren Bill Kline Jr (wife Angela nee Schmidt) Becky (husband Tim Eroh, Sr.) Heidi (Dom Aretino) Alexa Schmitz and Austin Schmitz., and 6 great-grand-children Ava, Merrick, Izzy, Charlotte, Vinny and Francesca.
