Condolences for Audrey J. Tucker (Sobel)

CHERYL SCHRIERTuesday, February 20th

Long time supporters of the Bucks County Homeless Shelter, Tom and I had the privilege of working closely with Audrey as we designed and built the new BuckUpBucks kitchen several years back, and we've been continued supporters of that work. Audrey's legacy will remain eternal here on earth through the organization she created here in Bucks and through the countless individuals, families and generations that have and will continue to benefit from the mental health work of Family Service Association. Rest in peace Audrey....you have been His good and honorable servant here on earth. Tom, our deepest sympathy to you and your children.

What a significant loss to the county of Bucks. I worked for Audrey for 7 years while at FSA and even worked on a project with Tom. She did wonderful things for the community. She was tirelessly dedicated to her work. She will be remembered by many. May she rest in peace. My thoughts and prayers are with her family during this difficult time.

I was so saddened to hear of Audrey’s passing. She was a long time colleague of more than 25 years and helped to guide me as a new director at NOVA in 1991. She was truly a leader in our non-profit world and a person with vision and compassion. She was always open to a challenge, mentored many of us and truly cared for the well-being of all of those who lived in our community. She will be sorely missed. Sincere condolences to her family, staff and board members at FSA and those whose lives she touched.

My deepest condolences to the family and to all those that she worked with at the organization that she loved and led with passion for decades. Audrey was visionary, smart, impactful and compassionate. She is a huge loss for Bucks County and the entire region. I had so much respect for her. She moved forward with incredible conviction with any cause or project in which she participated. Her direct style and sincere honesty made me honored and thankful to have her as a friend and confident. Audrey was always who I sought out for personal direction and professional advice, when I needed a reality check from an empathetic but strong advisor.
