We love you guys so much. The squad looked up to our brother and Lucas made us tough as nails. That was something none of us could ever repay him for. His impact on us was special and he was always honest with us. Condolences to you all. ❤️

I work at Duquesne University and we are all deeply saddened by your loss. I did not have the pleasure of knowing Lucas but he sounds like a wonderful young man and I know he will be truly missed. Losing a child is the worst pain that anyone will ever experience. I am so very sorry. Praying for strength for your entire family.

Tricia, Bob, and Kyle,

There are no words that anyone could say to make you feel better. My heart breaks for you. No one should lose a child. It’s not fair. I didn’t know Lucas but he had to be special. You and Bob are special (I’m sure Kyle is too.); you are always helping others. How could he not be just like you! I’m thinking of you. You are in my prayers always. I am truly sorry for the loss of your son. Hugs and love to you.

Dear Tricia, Bob & Kyle:
My heart breaks for you knowing you lost your beloved son and brother Lucas. A loss beyond all other losses. We will never understand why these sorrowful things happen to us until we join our precious ones in paradise and all will be revealed. I believe he is always with you both in mind, spirit and heart. I am praying that our precious Lord send you his Holy Spirit to both love and comfort you during this most difficult times in your lives.

My son is a fellow Duquesne student. While he did not know Lucas, he was very upset to learn of his passing and called to talk with me. I have been thinking about Lucas and your family throughout this past week, and just wanted you to know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers. May God grant you strength and courage, and guide you through each day following the devastating loss of your son; a pain that no parent should have to experience.
