Karen was the nicest person. I met her by chance at a neighbors party and quickly connected to her openness and outgoing personality. She was kind, giving and fun to be around. Whenever we would meet for dinner, she knew multiple people in the restaurant! I’m so sad for your loss. She was a great person!

I had the opportunity to teach Special Education at Log College Middle School for many years when Karen was there. She was such a friendly upbeat person and beloved teacher. She and her beautiful smile will be missed. Condolences to the family.

I had the privilege of working with Karen for many years at Log College. Her students trusted her, loved her and learned from her because she deeply cared about them and consistently advocated for them. Her legacy continues in the lives of the students she touched.
