Dear Cousins,
I am so very sorry for your loss of your dear mother. Although Aunt Marion was so petite and soft-spoken, even as a child I sensed her great strength and sense of purpose in her beliefs, values and convictions, as well as her protective love for her family.
I am sure your Dad is delighted they can again be together in mutual love to glorify God for all eternity.
My love and condolences to all of you.

Much love for everyone! My best memories of Aunt Marion are those as my Godmother - she and Marty gave me two books that I have moved nine times and across the country both ways. I still have them all these years later. The Book of Saints and The Wind in the Willows. I cherish those and my memory is of Marion's moments to call me aside, quietly, to give them to me and to share some words about why she chose those books. No fanfare - just simple moments. I keep them for that reason - the feeling of connection she created with me.
I will take time on Thursday to remember Aunt Marion and I will light a candle here in California.
Love,
David and family
