Condolences for Michael G. Mancini

Alice OBrienWednesday, July 6th

To Gina, the Kids, and both of your entire families,

I wanted to send my condolences to all of you and please know that you will all remain in my family’s thoughts and prayers.

I taught with Mike and Gina for years at St. Andrew’s School. I will always remember those years fondly. I would love being at lunch or at Issac Newton’s on special half days and listening to Mike, Gina, and their friend Michelle regale us with all of their great crazy stories. I remember laughing a lot.

Mike was a great guy and he was an amazing teacher. He will be surely missed. Sending my love, thoughts, and prayers to you all.

Love, Alice & Steve OBrien and the Boys

I met Michael and Melinda this past school year as Melinda’s before school teacher at Champions. Michael would drop her off every morning and I enjoyed our little chats. It was a pleasure getting to know him and spending time with Melinda each morning.

I am thinking of you all during this difficult time 😞.

Mr. Mancini was my teacher for the '09-'10 school year and I have to say, he truly was and still is one of my favorite teachers I've had. Every memory from that year was excellent between all the activities he would do with us and the friendships that grew from his class. Every so often someone in my family would reconnect with him, typically on Facebook, and it was always a joy. This might be strange to add but a few weeks ago I had a dream with him in it. It was really nice to see him again; we both did a double take, smiled and waved. It was a quick moment but it seemed as though that was his way of saying goodbye. He will always be missed and always remembered. Thank you for everything Mr. Mancini.

My condolences for your loss. I am yet a stranger but I work in Real Estate and know that is far too young to be taken. As a Mother I emotionally can't fathom the loss. I wish you strength for this time to come.
