This is such sad and shocking news. Lou and I have known each other over 27 years – back to our Sea-Land (Buyers Group) days in the mid-90s. At UPS he was part of our “work family” and I can’t imagine Lou no longer being part of it. Lou was always one to share a laugh and was a pleasure to be around. To Laurie and family – my deepest sympathies -- he will be missed so much by so many of us here at UPS.

Lou was an incredible co-worker and person. In the short time that I had the pleasure of knowing him while working together at UPS, I can say he was one of the people I most enjoyed collaborating with. I only had one chance to meet Lou in person - Out in Long Beach, CA for a conference. Lou took me under his wing during the trip, coaching and guiding me throughout the several days of events. I am forever grateful for his willingness and excitement to work with me during that time.

Lou will be missed dearly and will be in the thoughts and prayers of my family.

Doylestown PickleballTuesday, July 26th

Lou was a perfect addition to the pickleball family at Doylestown Pickleball.
A good sport and competitor; an all-round "good egg".
His warmth and generous spirit will be will be missed around the courts.
Our sincere condolences to Laurie and family.

I had the pleasure of working closely with Lou over the last few years as a vendor of UPS. Lou was a true sales professional! He had a great way of coupling his wealth of industry knowledge and experience along with a great personality to help connect people and solutions. I always felt respected and valued by Lou - he just had that way about hi. I'll miss our regular conversations about life and our industry. My deepest sympathies to the entire Piccione family, Lou's friends, and his UPS work family - I'm so sorry for your loss.

I was very saddened to hear that Lou had passed. I enjoyed working with Lou particularly working with customers. Lou always demonstrated compassion, sincere interest, and a little humor on top of his superior industry knowledge. It was heart warming to read that Lou brought these same qualities to other aspects of his life. I will greatly miss Lou.

Dear Laurie and family,
Lou was always friendly, happy, and positive when I knew him. The photos here show that those great qualities didn't change over the years. The photos also give a glimpse of the great love story between you and Lou, Laurie. The joy you had when you were together is obvious.

Your loss at this time is immeasurable. May the God of peace grant you all an unexplainable comfort today and moving forward. He keeps His word and it assures us that those who mourn will be comforted.
