Farewell to a dear classmate. Dave was nominated "Class Clown" of our 1958 graduating class. His wit and infectious sense of humor earned him that distinction. I often referred to Dave as the Mercury King due to the fact that he owned quite a few of them. He and I were car guys and often talked about various makes and models. We reminiced about the cars we drove as teens in high school.I'm sure we'll all miss his smile and fun loving nature. Goodbye to a great guy and wonderful human being.
Condolences for David C. Garrett
Dear Janet,
My deepest sympathies to you and your family. I was fortunate to meet Dave when I worked in Trenton, NJ. He was a class act and a salesman who I looked forward to seeing. When I moved back to PA to open my own funeral home, both of you visited me for a few summers. I am so glad to have known him.
With respect and fondness,
Donna Hudak-O'Shea
Pop was such an amazing man! I enjoyed my small amount of time with him as each encounter he definitely placed a smile on my face. He was certainly one of a kind and will not soon be forgotten. Thoughts, love, and mental hugs to the entire Garret family. ❤️
Sincere thoughts and prayers Janet to you and yours. Dan always enjoyed Dave.
We are so very sorry for your loss. May your happy memories give you peace and comfort during this challenging time.
We love you all. Steve and Alisa Shain
