Condolences for Mark T. Wetmore

Bryan RoseWednesday, August 31st

Mark,
You were the first officer I met when I started at DTTP so many years ago. You made me feel welcome from the first time I met you and you helped make me the best officer I could be. You came to work every day and treated people with respect and compasion, no matter what. Some of my favorite memories are the days of playing softball and the Myrtle Beach golf trips. I still can't believe you learned how to play that "SLICE".
To Terry and Andrew,
Thank you for sharing you husband/dad with the Police Department and the entire Doylestown Community. Mark will be sadly missed and was taken from us all, far too early. He wil live on in both of you. Andrew, he was so proud of you every day. Continue what you are doing, as you are a credit to your dad, by being such a well rounded young man.

I will fondly remember Mark not only as a classmate but as a fellow Brother in Blue. May God hold his family and loved ones in His Hand.

Lou Ann and Barry JusticeThursday, September 1st

Mark touched our lives and the lives of others in so many wonderful ways. He was Barry’s kindergarten buddy, childhood friend growing up, high school soccer teammate, college roommate, and member of our wedding party over 42 years ago.
Mark made us laugh throughout his life with his dry sense of humor and we enjoyed so many fun filled memories spent with him. He was a dear friend and we loved him like a brother!
Terri and Andrew, we wish you comfort and peace during this very difficult time. Our hearts go out to you for your loss and we hope happy memories will help you through this difficult time.
Sending love, thoughts, and prayers to you! Barry and Lou

Mark was a true friend and great brother-in-law. He always went out of his way to help, lend a hand, give a ride, etc. Mark also made time to have fun and listen to your thoughts on life. We are praying for you, Terry and Andrew, that you may find comfort and strength with all the beautiful memories Mark left behind. Love you Mark, Terry and Andrew.

Mark,
The time I spent working at Doylestown Township will forever hold a special place in my heart. Your easy going style and ability to talk to anyone taught me valuable lessons. Working for you was never a chore, you kept things light, set an example by taking more than your fair share of calls, showed me there was always more than one way to handle a problem, and you always stressed family in and out of the station. You will be missed.

Terry and Andrew,
My sincerest condolences. Mark was a good man and I was a better cop and person for having known him.

I am so sorry to hear about Mark's passing. I will always remember him fondly. He was a wonderful man, and a shining example of how a police officer should conduct themselves in the community. His obituary calls him a "straight shooter", and that he was. My thoughts and prayers go out to Terry and Andrew.
