John, my brother from another mother and father, you were always considered a brother to me. My family and I mourn your passing and while you are gone now and in a better place free from pain, we will meet up again on the other side. My daughter shared something today that she never shared with anyone. She was afraid of men at an early age but your big smile and humor made her at ease. This is just the kind of person you were. Doing your best to put smiles on faces of everyone you encountered. My wife of 40 years indicated your passion for life and the support you provided her was tremendous and as best man of our wedding she could count on you to guide us in the right direction. She is grateful you were our best man! My mother is mourning she lost a son. That is the impact you had on my family. All I can say is I would not be the person I am today if you weren't in my life. I'm so grateful of having time with you and Rick recently to reminisce of our crazy days and fun we had at the shore, hunting, fishing, cruising and everything else we did, except for my snoring that kept everyone up. I miss you tremendously and look forward to meeting you on the other side to make more memories. I will bring the beers. RIP my brother! Brian

We are so very sorry for your loss. John was a very dear friend to us for many years and we loved having him stay with us in Potter Cty. He was so kind and always willing to help. We had many great times up here together. He will never be forgotten. He is at peace now, where he wanted to be when he was with us in May. No more suffering. Fly high John and enjoy your loved ones up there.

I first and foremost want to extend my sincere deepest condolences to all of his family. Although I have never met them, I feel like I know them. John would tell me how proud he was of his nieces and nephews and their accomplishments and go though pictures and tell me a moment about that specific photograph. All of his sisters and Kali were often talked about. I am beyond blessed to have met and known such a beautiful person. Forever in my heart, with all my love. I will miss you, John.
