Condolences for David Scott Laustsen Esq.

Frank MarcianteSunday, January 8th

Dear Jean,
My deepest sympathies on David's passing. May the love of your family that surrounds you help you to cope.
My memories of David, though few, were of a jovial gentleman who was so very nice to me when I would see him at WTXF. I hope he was there for at least one of my "Hoagie Days".
My heart goes out to you and your family. His bio is impressive to say the least. Obviously a large void in everyone's lives.
May he Rest in Peace.

Dear Laustsen Family
I am so sorry for your loss.
David grew up in a loving family and wonderful neighborhood overlooking a peaceful creek. My family lived nearby and we had a terrific childhood! We went to Wind Point School and had such fun times and memories. On behalf of south of the creek crowd and Wind Point crew I want to honor his life and hope to see him on the other side one day. Meanwhile I will stay I. Touch with Judy on facebook Cindy Hammes McKenna

What a lovely man David Lausten was. I remember him from my years at another law firm in Doylestown. It was always good to share a few words and a smile at Cross Keys Diner. My sincere condolences to his family and colleagues.

Just was forward note from my father about Dave’s passing. It was a pleasure to work for KKAA while at NSU back in 85-87. Learned lots and had some fun.

ALAN FISCHERMonday, January 9th

I have known Dave for 63 years and worked for him and with him for 15 years in a business capacity. I always considered him to be one of my closest friends. I treasured him as a role model for me in learning how to be a good husband and father. The bottom line for Dave in everything he did was to do it in a manner that was right, decent, and considerate of others. I will miss him every day for the rest of my life.

Dave and I were neighbors and classmates in Aberdeen, SD in junior and senior high. The things we did and made ... probably best not to tell. I've alway regretted losing touch with him and his sister, Judy. Hoping to meet him again on the flip side. (And "Hi!" to Alan, too, ahh, the three of us ....)

Jean and family,
My sincere condolences. I served in SD Legislature, as a fellow Democrat with Dave. He was a fine man, a fine legislator, and a fine friend.
