It was my honor and privilege to be able to call Dr. Kim a very good friend and neighbor. From his obituary you could tell what an outstanding individual he was. He will deeply missed ..as now we all have a special Guardian Angel in heaven watching over us. Our love and prayers are being sent to the entire family.❤️🙏

I would would like to offer my sincere condolences to the Kim Family. I have known Mr. and Mrs. Kim for the better part of 28 years. I was a young financial advisor when we met. He helped bring two of my children into this world and for that, I will be forever greatful. We quickly established a great relationship which would turn into an unbreakable friendship. We would always start out talking about finances, which would lead into us talking about different aspects of life. We would talk for hours and no matter the circumstance, he always knew how to make me laugh and put a smile on my face. He was full of goodness and whole heartedness and you could feel it whenever you were in his presence. It was a great pleasure to have known such a man. He will be missed by everyone. Thank you Dr. Kim for everything you have done for me, my family, and so many others. It was a pleasure to have known you and it's an honor to be able to celebrate your life.

There are few words to express our poignant sorrow at this moment. Your brilliant mind for arts, classical music, philosophy, medicine, history among others and yet your humble Christian spirit as a humble servant to God will be remembered as our hero. Thank you for being a wonderful Big brother.
You've touched countless lives through your untiring devotion, generosity, along with selflessness to help your patients as a medical doctor, for which you had earned high respect among your colleagues and those church congregations.
you were a loving husband, a father of 3 children, grandfather of 3 grandchildren and the 1st son of 6 siblings, for whom you had played a major role in helping them in pursuit of the highest education thru your countless sacrifice, as a mentor, kind and intellectual pioneer for them. The penguin's first egg is smaller than the later, so reduced viability, and the younger who hatched later pushes the older to death. This is because the mother can’t raise two at the same time due to the limited food she can bring.
Likewise, the first-born children are willing to sacrifice themselves for their families. When my big brother reached young adult age, the Korean War broke out. In the ruins of war, as most of the first-borns had to bear the burden of supporting their family and raise younger siblings in place of their parents, it was same for him.
He gave up his dream of becoming a pianist and entered the path of a doctor to financially help his younger siblings with their studies. Since then, he lived frugally and diligently all his life, but he never forgot to love reading, music, and art.
Brother, you had played a major role as a pioneer for us with countless sacrifice. Especially, you were a spiritual pillar and intellectual mentor to me. Thanks to your trust and invest in me when I was young, now I have become what I’m today.
Now I’m sending you away. Your sweet voice and your gentle demeanor are in my heart and in my tears. May our Lord let His face shine on you! Thank you, Brother!

I had the pleasure of knowing Dr. Kim for as long as I can remember. He was an extraordinary person: a man of great faith and unrivaled intellect, full of wisdom and captivating stories, a leader in his community and a pillar of his family.

I will always cherish the all of the holidays I got to spend with Dr. Kim over the past few years. While I am saddened by his passing, I know that he is enriching the lives of those above as he enriched the lives of those he met on Earth.
