Condolences for Elizabeth "Betty" Andrus (Zeldin)

Samantha BrowerFriday, January 20th

Mommom was so awesome. I remember going down to her and Poppy’s condo with Lauren when we were in high school. She made me feel so welcomed and many laughs were shared over cards around that dining room table. She reminded me so much of my grandmother, and it’s heartbreaking that another warm, kind, and funny grandma cannot spread happiness anymore. We will remember her through memories and smile, but nothing will truly compare. I’m terribly sorry for your loss and my heart goes out to everyone who knew Mommom.

My extended family- by way of marriage- and someone who became a friend- one that I shared more than a few laughs with. Those holiday gatherings- the summer bbq’s will never be the same. Put in a good word for me, my friend- and make sure the wine is chilled. I know you’re there- Always- in spirit.

Gary and I were very blessed to have had Betty in our lives. She put her arms around the large Mossop family when Connie and Jim got engaged, and made us all feel very special and loved. Betty's heart was filled with generosity, kindness, and most of all, humor. Her laugh was so contagious and will forever bring a smile to our faces. She will be missed SO much but will remain forever in our souls.

What I remember most about Betty was her GREAT LAUGH ! We met through my cousin, Larry Laccabue, and enjoyed some good times when I visited him in PA. So sorry for your loss. She was a loving person and a good hugger!

Nearly forty-five years ago Mrs. Andrus became my Mom’s best friend, and then my Dad’s. I can’t remember an important event in my life that didn’t include the Andrus family.
I will always know how blessed my life has been for the wonderful addition to our family that the Andrus family became.
Mrs.Andrus, you will always be missed and loved beyond measure.
Laura

I've only known you for a short time but you were one amazing women. You and Ed were my favorite people to clean for. When I first meet you you had a lot of good spirit. It breaks my heart to know you where taken to soon. You even told me if my daughter needed grandparents for a day at school you would be there for her. I will miss you but now you aren't in any pain.

Few people have the consideration and unselfish heart that Betty had. Even fewer are willing to give so much of themselves. Betty could tackle any challenge that came her way and she would put her heart and soul into it. Never a truer word was spoken “Loved by all”. We will miss you Betty!
