This is such a tremendous loss for everyone. He had such a special relationship with so many people. He was a true gem and I feel literally gutted. I can't even imagine what you all are going through but I pray the pain eases each day. Luv -little camille

There are no words to express how sorry I am to hear about Carmen.

I remember going to Aunt Laura and Uncle Tommy's house on Sunday's for spaghetti dinner. My brother, Mario, and I had our fondest memories there. Eating such delicious food, and being with all of our cousin's made us so happy. My dad, Mario, would bring his guitar and sing, all of us kids would be in the basement playing or crawling through the tunnel that went from Aunt Laura and Uncle Tommy's bedroom to the boys room over the garage.

I also remember going to Carmen and Christine's wedding. We all laughed so hard, including Carmen, when he and Christine had to dance around the altar at the Greek Church because Carmen and Christine had to wear the flowers on their head and hold hands. I know this is a Greek tradition, but we were busting.

It was a beautiful wedding. I will never forget it.

Our deepest condolences to all the family and our thoughts and prayers are with you. We will remember Carmen as a kind and gentle man with whom we shared many fun summer days at the Tapestry swimming pool with Christine, Laura and Anna and our children too. We are grateful for those memories and hope that these and many other memories offer some comfort to you at this difficult time.

I am at a loss for words over the death of my dear cousin. Carmen was like an older brother when we saw each other. I remember all the times when he and my cousin Gregory would come over to my parent's home in Gibbstown NJ to play Poker with my father and other relatives in the early hours of the morning. There are memories of the Feast of Our Lady of Mt Carmel when we would celebrate Carmen's birthday which was July 16th. Carmen and his whole family were very good to my parents, especially Aunt Laura. Aunt Laura and my mom were like sisters. Loretta was good to us. They are all together. Miss you and love you, dear cousin.

I can remember when Carmen was a little boy when I visited the farm in Paulsboro, sometimes to help Aunt Laura. I remember how he always rocked back and forth whenever he sat down. I hate outliving my cousins: it’s not the way it should be. But I am so glad to have spent time with you Carmen.

I had the pleasure of knowing Carmen as a brother-in-law for about 10 years. He was always there for whatever anyone needed, help moving, listening, and especially good at sharing everything including vacations and holidays. I especially liked busting on him and that might have led to him bestowing the nickname “whip wire” on me.
Carmen was very charismatic and good at attracting people to him. I’m certain he is doing that in heaven right now.
Carmen isn’t gone, just not here.
It’s not a matter of learning to live without him but learning to live with the memories of him.
My heart is sad for all of you.
