Condolences for John R. Browne

Jim and Chris GancarzFriday, March 10th

Our sincere condolences to Jen, Jamie, JJ and Johnny. Memories of the kind and gentile John will be with us for ever. Our years in Quarter Midgets with John, Carole and Jen are among our fondest. Knowing that he is truly with his “bestie” for ever now is a bit of comfort to us. Gods speed John. Hug Carole for us. 🏁

For 42 years John worked for Al's Auto and was a huge asset to our company. He worked alongside of me and had a personality that everyone enjoyed and will be sadly missed by everyone. We have a lot of memories together while he worked to improve our company--which he did with heart and soul. He thought the world of his family and grandsons and did everything to put vehicles together for them. I will personally miss John and I did a lot of crying when I heard he passed. He was one of a kind and I wish I could duplicate him, but I know he cannot be replaced!!!! May he rest in peace!!!

Jen and Jamie, We are so sorry for your loss. Your dad was a great and fun guy and we have many fond memories of both Carole and John. We are thankful to have known them both and call them friends. Please know we are praying for peace for your family. Kiss the boys for us. We are in FL and unable to attend on Tuesday. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Our sincerest condolences to Jen, Jamie, JJ, Johnny. Over 40 years of friendship, we shared a lot of memories, travels, car shows, dinners, and many family events. But the best was his being a older brother, confidant and advocate to your feelings. John was a very private man and would do anything for you. He had face gestures for everything which made you laugh at the situation. Friday afternoon conversations will be sadly missed. A car enthusiast is to say it lightly. He loved his cars, especially his GTO, which is a story all by itself, as it was an adventure all on its own. He is with Carole, the love of his life and best friend. I will miss so much my Brother. I love you.

John was a good friend and business associate of mine for more years than I can remember. I'll miss the hours we spent together talking cars. It was a ritual after the auction Friday or Saturday, he would come over my house to compare and laugh at what toys we each had bought. We shared a love of Jeeps and he was always trying to help me get more of them. My best memory of John though, was when I was building my house, one Saturday morning while working upstairs I heard a loud rumble downstairs I came down the steps to find John sitting on his Harley in the middle of my living room revving up the bike with this big grin on his face. I WILL always remember that day. My love and condolences goes out to Jen and the rest of the family. I'll miss you John. Rest in peace.

Mr. Browne was a caring neighbor. I was happy to have him and Mrs. Browne as a guests at my wedding in September 2001. Over the years with loss bonding our families, we leaned on each other. When my dad recently suffered an illness, he was there to support him through keeping his spirits up with phone calls while he was convalescing amid Covid restrictions. My family greatly appreciated his friendship throughout the years.
We will miss our neighbor and our friend.
